Description and Payment Information:

‘Carvalho’s Journey’ tells the story of Solomon Carvalho, the first professional Jewish photographer, who in 1853, with no experience in rugged life, joined an expedition into the wilds of the American West.  The documentary depicts the challenges in capturing the adventure on film as the trip turned into an epic struggle for survival.
Steve Rivo, the film’s director, will enrich our experience with background, personal anecdote, and Q&A.  Both the film and conversation with Steve are virtual.

The film (1hr, 25 minutes) will be available for viewing from Saturday, November 13 through Sunday, November 21.  Steve's discussion will take place via Zoom on Sunday,  November 21 from 3:00 - 4:15 pm.   Prior to November 13, you will be sent a link to view the film and the Zoom link for the discussion.
